Recycling Center is Here!!!

Well, the wait is over! Club Penguin is officially "Green"... or, close to it... closer... whatever.

I have before and after pics!!!

and...

pretty good huh?... did the mine shrink?... looks like it...

heres the recycling center!!! fun huh? instead of throwing snowballs, your throw recyclables! so throw them in the chute to help! See what else you can find to, try pressing switches, etc.

There's even a new path that leads to the mine in the top right hand corner of the forest! (I always wondered how we got to the mine, we used to have to climb through some shrubs or something before i guess ha ha lol.)

In other news, the Medieval Party (as seen in the newspaper) is coming May 7th!!!

In the "Club Penguin Times" today, Gary announced that during the Earth Day celebration, we will be fixing up the mine shack, and building a "Recycling Center." They've also announced that the new "Better Igloos" catalog furniture items will be made using leftover material from the Gift Shop, so... FURNITURE MATCHES NEW CLOTHES!!!!! MORE HIPPIE STUFF!!!! BOO!!!

I don't mean to be a "Super Planet Polluter" or anything... but CP has gone too far...

Hey Penguins, so as we ALL know, Earth Day is coming soon. But do you ever remember Club Penguin making this big of a deal about it before? They Might of said, "Happy Earth Day penguins! New Puffle Game Released (Instructions Included)

Hey Penguins Long Post today, due to the new game that Club Penguin has released today.

If you don't know how to get to the mine, click this icon on the map to get there

So as you can see, a lot has been done.

Click on the board to start the game.

Ok, this is what it should look like when in the black puffle mode. I made the word black an italic because there are 3 modes. Two of which, are for members. If you are a "Non-paying" Member of Club Penguin, You can only do the Blue Puffle Mode. ANYWAYS, in the black puffle mode, you are a scuba diver. the black puffles are in bubbles underwater, trapped. The way to get them, is to get to the end of the course, to the other black and white square(s).

There will be obstacles along the way to the black puffle(s). For instance, the Squid/Octopus thingamajig, looks friendly at first but when you get near it, is an "octo-taser." That's Right, it will shock you. And, they MOVE. You have no idea how hard it was to take this picture without dying.

Also, you can't just stay in one spot. You have to keep moving. If you don't get to a platform fast enough, you will get smaller and smaller until you die. Then you have to go back to the beginning

Once you get to the other side (By the way, which is a platform(So you won't sink)) There will be a puffle in the same kind of black and white square you started at. Run into it like this...

Now you have the puffle. All you have to do now is go back the way you came, and touch the square that you started out on.

Once you beat a level, you will get this message. Only...It wont say my name it'll say...yours...

Now for the judgement. Overall I'd call it an excellent game. But two flaws... 1. The pay. It doesn't give you very many coins, I beat 5 levels, and I only received 23 coins. Not a HORRIBLE pay, but still could be better. 2. Also, They should make it so EVERYONE can play ALL the levels. Non-paying members can only play the first level, and I don't think that's fair. Club Penguin's games is one thing that makes Club Penguin fun. And this is just another game that Non-Members can't have very much fun with. Club Penguin just made it less fun for Non-Members AGAIN.

Greetings Penguins!

A few weeks ago, when the team showed the new orange puffle toy, lots of you wrote how stoked you were. (FYI - I think the orange puffle's HILAROUS and I'm pretty sure he has a sweet tooth like me.)

Well, the buzz on the island this week is about Rockhopper and there's been some talk around here about a new Rockhopper stuffed toy! I wanted to know more so I asked someone on the team who helps with toys.

Q: The orange puffle seems pretty loved. But what else is new?
A: The newest toys are some 9" stuffed toy penguins - there are a few different ones - including Rockhopper!

Q: Where can we get them?
A: They'll be in Disneyland Resort in California and at Walt Disney World, Florida really soon - and the team's working hard to get them in more places, too - like in Disney Stores and at the CP Online Shop. Keep checking those places. Also, each one comes with a code to unlock items online. And we've updated the Treasure Book!

Q: What should we do if we have toy ideas?
A: Give us all your feedback. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, and what you'd like to see in the future!

Rockhopper's here this Thursday! Last week we asked you what you'd be doing to welcome him to the island and Stawfairy said:

Me and my buddies like dressing up and pretending we are pirates on his ship. We sail away to new islands and explore club penguin like it's a new island! Then we look for rockhopper! when we find him we dance with him, turn red, and bring our red puffles too!

My Opinion #1:Gotten old?

Hey Penguins! I'm starting a new segment called "My Opinion" This time, I'm going to be talking about "Fire Jitsu", and other topics.

This is me sitting alone on a FULL server in the Fire Jitsu

area, this wasn't during a party, I actually took this picture

a while ago, I mean like a week or two ago...

Has Fire Jitsu already gotten old? Come to think of it...

Card Jitsu has gotten old... But Card Jitsu isn't a huge surprise.

Card Jitsu has been around for almost a year! Maybe even a year.

And studies show that about 89% percent of Club Penguin at LEAST

have their Green Belt. New people join the online game of Club Penguin

every single day. So that means that Card Jitsu will ALWAYS be

new to people... But Card Jitsu Fire... That's different.

Card Jitsu Fire was a huge hit, NO WONDER!!! it was about time

that Club Penguin expanded the Card Jitsu game! Do you know why they did?

Because Club Penguin knew that Card Jitsu was getting old! It had as much

popularity as the Forest. I estimate about a little less than half of club penguin

are NOT paying members. and a member can't be a ninja. Well, they can ,

but they can't buy the suit! Which really is pointless. Card Jitsu Fire is only for

MEMBER NINJAS which is only about 40% or even less of Club Penguin.

And I must be honest....... If you don't have a Club Penguin Membership,

Club Penguin really isn't fun, you could say POINTLESS. Club Penguin just wants

YOUR money because Club Penguin is BROKE they THRIVE on Members.

and if Club Penguin Membership didn't exist..... Club Penguin wouldn't have made it this long.

Screenhog Talks about Puffles

Hi everyone, it's Screenhog!

It's the time of year when we honor the island's best pets - puffles. Way back when Club Penguin first launched, there weren't any puffles at all. But a lot of you asked to have some kind of pet to adopt and we decided to make up a completely new creature. That's how the puffle came to be. Actually, you guys even decided on the name "puffle"!

Last year we showed a couple of the original sketches back from November 2005 when artists first started sketching what a penguin's pet might look like - we wanted to show some of those again (in case you missed them) plus a few more that have never been seen before.

What do you think?

The new Snow & Sports catalog comes out on Thursday! We asked what sports you and your friends like playing most around the island and Wurmpul said:

I play sports with all my buddies we do soccer,ice hockey,football, and sometimes basketball mostly our teams our red and blue but sometimes we go crazy using green and black. When we get tired we go to my igloo for some penguinade then jump right back up for some more.

Puffle Party!

Hello Penguins!

The Puffle Party is still going strong for a few more days, and I hope you and your puffles are having a blast! I got a kick out of the Puffle Show, with the Puffle Grooming station and all the races going on. What did you think of it?

Some of you may have noticed that the party was launched earlier than expected last week. This was part of our new earlier launch times that I mentioned last Tuesday.

This week, things will be happening a little earlier than usual again. The Puffle Party will be wrapping up on Thursday morning Penguin Standard Time, and the new Sports Catalog will be launching then too. It also means a special surprise will be arriving early at the Pet Shop...

Hey Penguins!!! Cool stuff I forgot to tell you about!

In the town, there are FREE

Puffle Party 2010 hats!!!

Last week, we wanted to hear the coolest adventure you and your buddies have gone on with your puffles. Sidiceage said:

The coolest adventure I have had with a puffle was, my pink puffle, named pink, and I went aqua grabbing. That was so much fun we went exploring everywhere. We saw a giant clam and slipped away with it's big pearl, We cleaned up soda barrels, we earned a bunch of coins together. It was the best time ever! I cant wait to have more adventures with my other puffle's. See you at the puffle party!!

New Launch Time!

Hello Penguins!

Last Thursday when we had to launch earlier than normal, we got a ton of comments that you liked getting the new stuff early! You may know new content usually launches later on Thursdays (Penguin Standard Time) and we've heard from some of you that when there are problems with it, you have to wait because the team's not always around to get things fixed right away.

We're working to make things better and wanted you to be the first to know that starting tomorrow we're going to launch content earlier in the day. Hopefully this will mean fewer bugs... and tomorrow it will mean that everyone gets more time to play at the Puffle Party!

Thanks for your patience with the changes - and if you can, we'd appreciate if you could help spread the news to other penguins! In the meantime, what are you looking forward to at the Puffle Party?

Puffle Party Update!

Hello Penguins,

The Puffle Party is almost here, set to start February 19! I've got an update from the team, along with a couple of sneak peeks. Take a look:

What do you guys think? Does it look "cool"?

The Puffle Party will have lots of special rooms, decorations, games... and a surprise for members!

So are you and your puffles doing anything special to prepare? Or if you don't have any puffles, are you thinking about adopting some? Share your ideas in the comments!

100th Post Celebration Canceled

Hey penguins, dreadfully sorry.... but I actually haven't reached 100 posts.... I thought I did... but I was told by a friend that the number of posts in 2009 & 2010 didn't add up to the number I thought it was..... If you have a Blogger accont, you know that on your dashboard, there is a number of posts that you have made, mine added up to 98, but it also counted drafts! After I deleted all the drafts, I looked at the number, and realized I had only published 79, this is the 80th post.

So I'm sorry to say, that the new iPlay will be released EARLY!!!!! The iPlay is now coming with a package deal with the Puffle Party on Club Penguin!!! I have a countdown on my blog now, counting down to both.

It's been over a year since the original Elite Penguin Force for Nintendo DS came out. We've heard that lots of you like it and you've even been asking if we're making another one. We're really excited to be the first to tell you about the brand NEW EPF game for the Nintendo DS that'll be released mid 2010!! Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge will have cool stuff you said you liked from the first game - and TONS of new surprises.

Since the team's building it right now, we want to be able to show you some behind-the-scenes work we're doing. Just for a start, here's a sketch of something you'll be seeing in the game...

In other news: A few months ago we posted an image of a mysterious penguin and we told you she'd be helping Agents sometime in the future. Secrets of the Bamboo Forest @ The Stage

Hey Penguins! Secrets of the Bamboo Forest can be a little tricky, but with my help, it'll be a synch!

First thing you want to do is get the "Golden Feather."

You get it at the Beacon, on top of a Puffle Party box

This feather also can be used as a pin!

Once you get the pin, a bridge will open in the Stage allowing you to go across the river and get this background!

Hello Penguins!

As you know, our new servers are up and we wanted to make sure nothing else was late - so we've decided to launch some stuff early!! Thanks again for your patience as we try to make things better. If you can't see the change, try clearing your computer's cache.

As of right now, a bit early, you can grab your friends and head to the Stage to check out Secrets of the Bamboo Forest!

We're hoping to see lots of you searching the island all dressed up in the new costumes... and trying to find the Golden Feather! Once you have it, you'll be able to get across the river in the Stage and access the Phoenix Queen's castle. Think there might be a secret inside? Good Luck!

The mine went from the most unvisited room to the MOST visited within 24 hours. With penguins anxiously waiting for the new party to come out,The mine was the new hot spot!

to get to the mine, click this icon on the map!

There will be a bucket of FREE mining helmets, even for non-members!

once you get that, you should visit the best

If any of you have realized, sometimes it takes Forever just to load up, or to buy something, and more than likely, to move to another room? Well, I have the answer! It depends on how fast or slow your computer is, but, on most PCs, if your loading for more than 30 seconds, and there is no bar underneath showing how much load you have left, you are more than likely on what I call

"Forever Loading." Club Penguin has grown in popularity over the years, now SO many people are on CP, the software cant comprehend all the Data which stops the loading process. So, if this happens, don't count on it to start loading just log out, and log back in.
